NAIRR Software Workshop
A national workshop convening academia, industry, and government to define the software infrastructure needed for an accessible, trustworthy national AI research resource.
The workshop brought together participants from academia, industry, and government to discuss real-time analytics, AI-driven decision-making, data privacy and security, and software portability across differing AI hardware, drawing on existing efforts from universities, national laboratories, and industry. Discussion also covered practical questions of user support and sustainable funding, and how new tools get integrated into the national AI resource stack. The workshop concluded with a report outlining the software infrastructure needed for an inclusive, ethical, and trustworthy national AI research ecosystem.
